Application Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of geospatial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications, including user interfaces, workflows, and APIs for DHS geospatial systems
• Design and maintain applications that integrate with geospatial data platforms and enterprise systems
• Collaborate with teams to translate mission requirements into technical solutions and ensure compliance with DHS standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in application development
• Experience in developing applications, including user interfaces, workflows, and APIs
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar
• Experience with APIs and integrating REST-based services
