Application Developer

Job Summary

Customizing and maintaining the Kuali Coeus open-source software systems, the remote Application Developer will troubleshoot program bugs, write unit tests, and implement CI/CD processes while collaborating with the KC Functional Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve program bugs reported in the JIRA issue tracking system
• Design and code enhancements to Kuali Coeus as specified in project documentation
• Prepare program documentation and monthly status reports on project progress and goals

Required Qualifications

• Five years of experience with Java Programming Language
• Four years of experience in enterprise-scale web application development and relevant frameworks
• Experience with XML, WSDL, SOAP, and RESTful web services
• Four years of experience programming solutions for Kuali Coeus
• One year of experience using the JIRA issue tracking system
