Application Developer

Job Summary

To support the University's mission, the full-time salaried Application Developer will design and implement custom software solutions, integrate third-party applications, and mentor fellow developers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement major custom applications, including planning, analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance
• Mentor and provide guidance to other developers, student workers, and interns within the IT Department
• Manage assigned projects from start to finish, estimating time and resources, and reporting on project status regularly

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in programming/systems or computer science, or equivalent work experience
• At least one year of web programming/systems analysis experience, including advanced programming techniques
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and middleware
• Experience developing Microsoft.Net web applications in C# and SQL Server Administration
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle of enterprise-level applications
