Application Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of robust software solutions, the full-time Application Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy applications while collaborating with business analysts and other developers, with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite in Topeka.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure application solutions
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or completion of a Computer Science program preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of application development experience for Developer II, 5 years for Developer III, and 8 years for Lead Developer
• Proven experience in Java EE development environments preferred
• Training in ITIL, COBIT, and Agile is preferred
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot and tools like GitLab and Postman
