Application Developer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Application Developer I.

Key Responsibilities

• Review complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop, modify, and maintain complex software products, including unit and system testing
• Lead design/code reviews and provide guidance and training to junior staff

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of relevant work experience or 12 years in lieu of degree
• Working knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Kanban)
• Familiarity with Open Connect Technology, .NET/Java, Automation & Cloud Computing
• Experience with NASCO claims processing system is preferred
