Application Development Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and architecture of scalable applications, the remote Application Development Architect will define technical standards, mentor development teams, and drive innovation using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring successful delivery of complex projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable applications, establishing technical standards and best practices
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation strategies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with 3-5 years in an Application Architect or similar leadership role
- Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with proficiency in at least one other modern programming language
- Strong understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and RESTful API design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
