Application Development Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Development Director to lead its Information Technology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, development, and performance management of the Application Development team
• Lead the development and deployment of new applications and system enhancements
• Oversee collaboration between analysts, developers, and quality assurance for software testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 15 years in IT with 10 years in management)
• Preferred experience in property/casualty insurance and AINS certification
• Advanced understanding of project management and software development methodologies
• Knowledge of mainframe, client-server, and internet development platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
