Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Development & Support Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve problems and incidents, working with support personnel to document processes for similar applications
• Provide periodic on-call support and coordinate with operations staff for monitoring production systems
• Deploy application upgrades, read and write scripts, and document processes related to deployments and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Linux and network technologies
• Experience with SQL for relational databases
• Prior experience in a Level 2 or Technical Helpdesk role preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a PCI environment or the Payment Industry preferred
