Application Development Leader

Job Summary

Leading a team of software developers and analysts, the full-time Application Development Leader will oversee the design and development of mortgage technology solutions, ensuring compliance and enhancing borrower experience while working onsite in Troy, MI.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team supporting mortgage technology platforms and oversee the development of key systems
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that improve loan lifecycle efficiency
• Drive application development roadmaps aligned with business growth and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry preferred
• Proficiency in modern development technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., .NET, Azure, SQL Server)
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and DevOps practices
