Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Engineer to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain DSAID application components across various environments
Support application sustainment, maintenance, and enhancement activities according to the DMDC Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Troubleshoot application issues and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 help desk tickets

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a DoD or federal environment
Experience with Agile and DevSecOps development methodologies
Hands-on experience with application servers, web services, and middleware technologies
Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity compliance
