Application Engineer
Job Summary
The full-time Application Engineer - Database will provide advanced technical support by diagnosing and resolving complex application issues, collaborating with internal teams, and driving automation initiatives using Python, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Triage and resolve client-reported issues escalated from Tier 2 and interdepartmental teams
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives through the development of Python scripts and related tools
- Collaborate with Development and Product teams to recreate issues in test environments and maintain production data integrity
Required qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Expert knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis
- 2+ years of professional Tier 1/Tier 2 experience
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and incident management workflows
