Application Engineer, CNC

Job Summary

Supporting the Sales and Engineering teams, the full-time remote Application Engineer, CNC will analyze CAD models and technical drawings, assess manufacturability, calculate costs, and provide DFM feedback to ensure accurate and timely quoting for customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings and CAD models to assess manufacturability and calculate manufacturing costs
• Provide recommendations on manufacturing processes and document calculations for the Sales team
• Organize RFQs, clarify details with teams, and maintain quote databases for timely updates

Required qualifications:

• Higher technical education in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering
• Expert knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, including CNC machining and sheet metal processing
• Understanding of post-processing methods and knowledge of various materials and their processing properties
• English proficiency at B2+ level
