Application Engineer - Data Center

Job Summary

To support the development of controls and SCADA systems within the Data Center sector, the remote Application Engineer - Data Center will engage with clients to define project scopes, create technical proposals, and manage customer expectations while collaborating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Interface directly with Data Center clients to evaluate system requirements and lead technical discovery conversations
• Develop clear technical scopes and cost estimates based on floor layout drawings, electrical diagrams, and customer inputs
• Prepare formal proposals in alignment with brand standards, ensuring accurate reflection of technical scope and pricing

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in technical and customer-facing roles related to construction, electrical systems, or automation
• Strong foundational knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial controls
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in related fields
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting floor layout, single-line electrical, and P&ID diagrams
• Experience in developing technical scopes of work and managing customer expectations in fast-paced environments
