Application Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Engineer II responsible for planning, problem resolution, and advanced production support for high-priority applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical support efforts for business applications, resolving complex problems and managing disaster recovery plans
• Maintain a strong knowledge base of applications and oversee advanced technical projects while mentoring less experienced associates
• Develop and manage comprehensive testing plans, implementing system enhancements based on user feedback and business needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in Application Engineering or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience
• Experience administering Infolease versions 9 and 10 is preferred
• Familiarity with RHEL 7.9 or later, AIX 7.x, and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Unidata 8.x, SQL Server 2012 or later, and experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Understanding of application and database security principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
