Application Engineer Solar Systems

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Application Engineer Solar Systems, the candidate will lead technical proposals for solar and storage solutions, ensuring compliance with customer specifications while collaborating with sales and product development teams to deliver optimized technical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead for Solar and Storage proposals, managing proposal completion, costing, scheduling, and risk assessments
• Translate customer needs into tailored technical solutions and develop comprehensive technical proposals
• Support sales teams with technical presentations and maintain technical commercial documentation in coordination with stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role
• Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and grid compliance standards
• Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions
• Experience working collaboratively within international teams
