Application Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Working remotely from locations in North Carolina, Texas, or Arizona, the full-time Application Penetration Tester will plan and conduct penetration tests on complex computer systems, coordinate third-party vendor testing, and analyze test results to enhance the Bank's digital security.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct application penetration tests of complex computer systems
• Coordinate third-party vendor testing and analyze documented test results
• Stay current on new tools, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats to enhance security measures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security, or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in application penetration testing techniques, including testing web applications and databases
• Experience with pentesting frameworks such as OWASP and PTES
• Proficiency in using tools like Kali Linux, Burp Suite, and other pentest tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
