Application Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Analyst/Senior.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify security issues and define requirements throughout the application development lifecycle
• Review development documents for adherence to secure coding standards and coordinate with developers on secure design
• Perform penetration testing and monitor for atypical usage to identify potential security breaches

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or Associate's degree with 5+ years for Application Security Analyst; Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Associate's degree with 7+ years for Senior role
• Strong preference for at least one security certification (CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, CEH, AWS Security, etc.)
• Thorough understanding of industry-based security controls and cloud-based security
• Proficient in testing web applications for security vulnerabilities
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and emerging cybersecurity trends
