Application Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the software delivery lifecycle, the full-time remote Application Security Analyst will integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, partner with development teams to mitigate security risks, and conduct application security assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, and IaC validation
• Collaborate with developers to identify and remediate application and cloud security risks early in the development process
• Conduct application security assessments and provide guidance on secure coding practices aligned with industry standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, with relevant industry certifications
• 4+ years of experience in application security, DevOps, or a related cybersecurity role
• Strong understanding of application security principles and secure coding practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• Experience with security testing methodologies and tools, including SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management
