Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining application security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure coding standards and guidelines, and review application architectures for security risks
• Lead the implementation of a secure SDLC and integrate security requirements into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and lead application security assessments, including penetration testing

Required Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Preferred certifications such as Security+, CASE, or CSSLP
• 5 - 8 years of experience in information security or related technical roles
• Strong understanding of application security architecture and secure coding practices
• Experience with security best practices and standards, including OWASP Top 10 and secure SDLC implementation
