Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Security Assessment: Evaluate applications for appropriate security controls using various tools and techniques
• Application Security Control Development: Provide guidance on implementing security controls to developers
• Security Awareness Training: Design and deliver presentations on security considerations and defensive programming

Required Qualifications:

• B.S or M.S in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3 years of experience with M.S degree or 5 years with B.S degree in software engineering
• Experience in software security, Java/J2EE, C#/ASP/.NET, and application security tools
• Experience mentoring teams and managing security assessments
• Relevant credentials such as OSCP, CEH, or AWS certifications
