Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Member of Technical Staff, Application Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure development pipelines and infrastructure in collaboration with security, engineering, and research teams
• Act as a subject matter expert for secure development practices
• Provide risk assessments to prioritize critical areas for improvement in the development lifecycle and infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in securing applications and infrastructure in complex cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of security principles, common vulnerabilities, and secure coding practices
• Fluency in one or more programming languages, including Python or Typescript
• Experience implementing and utilizing SAST/DAST tools in development pipelines
• Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or GCP
