Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their Cyber Engineering group.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy SAST and SCA tools, automating security scans within CI/CD pipelines
• Review scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and provide actionable remediation guidance to developers
• Act as a champion for secure development practices, integrating security into design and testing phases

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 8 years of experience in application security, including SAST/SCA tool deployment and CI/CD integration
• Proficiency in SAST and SCA tools, as well as CI/CD platforms
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and web application architectures
