Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security (AppSec) and DevSecOps Engineer to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security at every phase of the software development lifecycle and collaborate with teams to remediate security issues
• Automate security checks and integrate security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines for continuous compliance
• Perform vulnerability assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing while managing third-party dependencies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5+ years of experience in AppSec, DevSecOps, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with security tools and CI/CD tools
• Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
• Experience working in regulated environments ensuring application security compliance
