Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical security policies and procedures, and perform security measures
• Scan and test applications for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards
• Integrate security tools into the software development pipeline and lead training sessions on secure coding practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, or 7 years of combined higher education and work experience including 5 years in software development or application security
• Experience with application security tools such as SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST, or ASPM
• Intermediate understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Able to train technologists and leaders on secure application development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
