Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to safeguard their platform and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure AWS configurations and embed security into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct threat modeling sessions, secure code reviews, and automate security tasks
• Develop and enforce AppSec standards across product teams and support compliance assessments

Required Qualifications

• 8-12 years' experience in application security engineering, DevSecOps, or security platform engineering
• Deep familiarity with CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, OWASP Top 10, and CWE taxonomy
• Proven experience with AWS core services and securing IaC and CI/CD pipelines
• Container security experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS-related threat surfaces
• Experience scripting automation (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for AppSec tasks
