Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity expertise and guidance throughout the software development life cycle
• Drive policy compliance and secure SDLC activities including threat modeling and code reviews
• Support incident response operations and maintain current knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related technical degree or equivalent experience
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or Sec+ are preferred
• Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance, regulations, and industry standards
• Relevant work experience in application security
• Up to 10-15% travel may be required
