Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to join their Information Security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing
• Perform application security vulnerability management and document/report findings
• Assist in the development of automated security testing and security training

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years' experience with application security programs
• Familiarity with common security libraries, controls, and flaws
• Basic development or scripting experience, preferably in .NET Core, Go, or Python
• Understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP)
• Experience with modern application security tooling such as SAST, DAST, and IAST
