Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applications Security (AppSec) Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the adoption of application security and DevSecOps automation across development teams
• Assist with educating engineering teams on core security standards and concepts
• Triage and validate security findings by reviewing code and identifying true/false positives

Required Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of application security and secure development concepts
• Experience with application security scanning tools such as SAST, SCA, and DAST
• Excellent coding knowledge in Python and JavaScript
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools like GitHub or GitLab
• Experience in cloud deployment environments such as AWS and/or Azure
