Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to perform application security testing and collaborate with development teams to enhance security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct application security testing across various platforms to identify vulnerabilities
• Create detailed reports on security issues and provide actionable recommendations for remediation
• Educate development teams on secure coding practices and promote overall application security awareness

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in application security testing, including DAST, SAST, OSS testing, and IAC
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Relevant certifications such as EC-Council C|ASE or (ISC)2 CSSLP
• Experience with OWASP Top Ten security vulnerabilities and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Proven ability to implement secure coding practices and provide training to development teams
