Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Application Security Engineer will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, conducting threat modeling, performing code reviews, and managing security tools in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for applications and services
• Perform manual code reviews and collaborate with engineering teams to harden critical components
• Operate and tune security tools across CI/CD pipelines and manage vulnerability workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Five or more years of application security or security engineering experience
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerability classes
• Hands-on experience with code review in at least two major programming languages
• Deep familiarity with SAST, DAST, and CI/CD-integrated security tooling
