Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time remote Application Security Engineer will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, conduct threat modeling, perform code reviews, and enhance application security practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for applications and services
• Perform manual code reviews and collaborate with engineering teams on securing critical components
• Drive vulnerability management workflows and implement runtime protections for applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Five or more years of application security or security engineering experience
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerability classes
• Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and CI/CD-integrated security tooling
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for tooling and automation
