Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Application Security Engineer to work remotely, who will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, conduct threat modeling, perform code reviews, and manage vulnerability workflows while collaborating with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for applications and services
• Perform manual code reviews and collaborate with engineering teams on securing critical components
• Drive vulnerability management workflows, including triage, prioritization, and remediation tracking

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Five or more years of application security or security engineering experience
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerability classes
• Hands-on experience with code review across at least two major programming languages
• Deep familiarity with SAST, DAST, and CI/CD-integrated security tooling
