Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Application Security Engineer for a full-time remote position, who will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, conduct threat modeling, and collaborate with engineering teams to design secure systems while managing vulnerabilities across the application portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for applications and services
• Perform manual code reviews and collaborate with engineering teams on securing critical components
• Drive vulnerability management workflows and implement runtime protections for applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Five or more years of application security or security engineering experience
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and modern exploit patterns
• Hands-on experience performing code reviews across at least two major programming languages
• Deep familiarity with SAST, DAST, and CI/CD-integrated security tooling
