Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of enterprise applications, the full-time remote Application Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security controls, perform security assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of applications and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for enterprise applications and cloud services
• Conduct security assessments and architecture reviews for new applications and third-party integrations
• Develop and automate security controls and monitoring to improve visibility into application risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise security, application security, or security engineering
• Strong understanding of application security principles and technologies
• Hands-on experience securing enterprise application integrations across SaaS platforms
• Experience with scripting or automation using languages such as Python or PowerShell
