Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance application security, the full-time remote Application Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure software development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security measures for applications and systems
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in application security or related field
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST)
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and software development methodologies
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or similar) are preferred
