Application Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading the application security program, the full-time Application Security Manager will develop secure coding standards, manage vulnerability assessments, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute application security strategies, including threat modeling and vulnerability management
• Establish secure software development lifecycle practices and oversee vulnerability management programs
• Lead security training and awareness initiatives for developers and architects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum seven years of experience in application security or related roles
• At least three years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Proficiency with application security tools such as SAST and DAST
• Demonstrated knowledge of secure coding principles and OWASP vulnerabilities
