Application Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading operational execution and strategic initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager of Application Security will manage the AppSec organization, ensuring integration with Security Architecture and driving prioritization and automation of AppSec processes in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of AppSec programs and collaborate on strategy formulation
• Monitor application security risks and develop metrics for tracking security performance
• Ensure effective communication of AppSec initiatives and mentor team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Information Technology/Security, including 4+ years in a leadership role
• 2+ years of experience in software/system release management with a focus on security validation
• Expertise in AppSec testing modalities and SCA SDLC tooling
• Proficiency in tools such as GitHub, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Jenkins
