Job Summary

Supporting a growing security function, the full-time remote AppSec Security Specialist will focus on application security, vulnerability management, and secure development practices while collaborating with engineering teams to identify and remediate risks across web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform web application security scans and manage vulnerability remediation processes
• Support security operations by monitoring alerts and assisting with incident response activities
• Enhance employee security awareness through training campaigns and phishing simulations

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in application security, security operations, or vulnerability management
• Proficiency with security tools such as EDR, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners
• Experience in web application security testing and secure software development practices
• Ability to communicate security findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail with a practical approach to security challenges
