Application Security Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Tester to support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application security testing, including dynamic application security testing (DAST) and validation testing
• Identify application-level vulnerabilities and validate findings from automated scanning tools
• Document application vulnerabilities and coordinate testing activities with relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in application testing or application security assessments
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and cloud-based systems
• Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure application design principles
• Active GTAPT, CEH, or Security+ certification is preferred
