Application Support Analyst
Job Summary
Providing technical support for proprietary application software, the contract Application Support Analyst IV will troubleshoot issues, develop reports, and mentor junior team members while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate incidents and bugs in operational systems, implementing changes or workarounds to ensure application functionality
- Develop data extractions and reports based on client requests using various database and reporting tools
- Track production issues and report on application uptime and efficiency, providing support during maintenance and upgrades
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in an application/production support role
- Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and understanding of database principles
- Knowledge of UNIX, networking, and Java-based applications
- Experience with ITSM tools and incident management processes
