Job Summary
Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for customers and internal teams, the full-time remote Application Support Engineer will monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable application performance while supporting a 24x7x365 production platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor system health and performance using enterprise tools and troubleshoot production issues
- Provide technical support for customer inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed
- Document incidents and maintain knowledge base while collaborating across teams to resolve issues
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in application/production support (Tier 1/2)
- Knowledge of SQL and databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic) and scripting/automation skills
