Application Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting partner integrations and system validation, the full-time remote Application Systems Engineer will develop technical documentation, provide customer support, and design automated testing tools across firmware, cloud, and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain example code, integration guides, and technical documentation for APIs and SDKs
• Provide technical support for physical access control software customers and integration partners
• Design and develop automated regression testing and protocol validation tools to improve quality and efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with 3+ years of experience in application systems engineering
• Proficiency in Python development and experience with automation tools and test frameworks
• Experience integrating, validating, and troubleshooting REST APIs and web services
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across cloud, mobile, firmware, and hardware environments
• Familiarity with access control industry standards and developing automated test frameworks
