Application Technical Specialist

Job Summary

To support a long-term contract opportunity, the remote Application Technical Specialist will design and develop complex software solutions, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance products and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, high-performance applications for mission-critical systems
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code while delivering releases of tested software components on time
• Evaluate and lead the use of AI/ML capabilities to accelerate product modifications and collaborate with product, QA, and data teams to define requirements

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in J2EE application development, including front-end, back-end, and middle-tier components
• 3 years of experience with multiple design patterns and third-party middleware tools
• 3 years of experience in web services creation, consumption, and implementation
• 5 years of extensive knowledge of web and application servers
• 2 years of coding experience with Spring modules and web application development with Struts modules
