Applications Developer

Job Summary

Joining the Electronic Data & Interoperability team, the full-time remote Applications Developer will analyze, develop, enhance, and support applications using Java and SQL while collaborating with both experienced engineers and early-career peers.

Key responsibilities

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and analysis to design and develop information systems
• Devises or modifies application systems to optimize functional requirements, including capacity and response time
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs and scripts while maintaining technical skills in relevant software languages and platforms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience coding in Java
• Familiarity with SQL Server
• Interest in working with healthcare technology
• Willingness to learn and grow in enterprise healthcare technology
