Applications Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applications Programmer to support the Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain application source code for DSAID sustainment and enhancements
• Implement Change Requests (CRs) and backlog items in alignment with Agile sprint schedules
• Troubleshoot application issues and support integration testing and production releases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in application programming or software development
• Proficiency in at least one enterprise programming language (e.g., Java, C#, PL/SQL)
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of DoD or federal cybersecurity requirements, including RMF and STIGs
