Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applied AI Engineer to lead the identification, scoping, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities across its product and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities, maintaining a backlog and defining initiatives end-to-end
• Build and maintain AI-powered features and workflows, integrating them into existing systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering teams to enhance workflows and document AI implementations

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on production AI or LLM-powered applications
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and automation tools
• Proficiency with low/no-code orchestration platforms for rapid AI workflow delivery
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering fundamentals, with fluency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or similar
• Self-directed, capable of managing a backlog and validating business use cases independently
