Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Applied AI Engineer, a full-time remote position responsible for designing and prototyping AI systems to enhance operational efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks within a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype AI systems to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational workflows
• Collaborate with team leads to identify high-leverage AI opportunities and prioritize internal workflows
• Develop production-ready agents and automations that measurably save time and enhance quality for internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience in backend development and lightweight internal UIs
• Familiarity with modern LLM tooling and agentic frameworks
• Experience with low-code workflow platforms such as n8n or Zapier
• Ability to integrate with various systems including Slack, Google Workspace, and CRMs
• Understanding of data privacy and community trust considerations
