Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of AI-powered product features, the full-time remote Applied AI Engineer will build LLM-based systems for coaching insights, architect low-latency AI solutions, and mentor engineers to enhance applied AI practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered product features from concept to production
• Build scalable data and feature pipelines to support AI use cases and improve model performance
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify and implement high-impact AI opportunities

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on AI and ML expertise
• Proven track record of deploying AI and ML systems into production
• Deep experience with LLMs and modern AI tooling, including prompting and embeddings
• Strong system design skills for building scalable and reliable AI systems
• Experience with large-scale data systems such as pipelines or data warehouses
