Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and innovative, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will design, prototype, and operationalize AI and analytics solutions to automate work and enhance decision-making, working remotely while collaborating with operational leaders and data engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applied AI and machine learning solutions to address operational challenges
• Independently create end-to-end proofs of concept to validate AI ideas and demonstrate value
• Collaborate with data engineering to scale and operationalize successful AI solutions for production use

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4-7 years of experience in analytics, data science, or AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in building and deploying ML or AI solutions
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in building applied AI or ML solutions
• Demonstrated ability to independently create end-to-end proofs of concept, including data preparation and modeling
• Experience working with large datasets in modern analytics platforms such as Databricks
