Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

To build AI-native systems for an innovative neobank app, the full-time remote Applied AI Engineer will create AI-powered workflows, integrate AI across various financial services, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI-powered workflows, assistants, and automation systems
• Apply AI across customer support, onboarding, payments, and internal tools
• Prototype quickly, test with users, and productionize effective solutions

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering foundation, preferably with Python and backend systems
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, workflow automation, or AI tools
• Ability to connect AI systems with real product and operational workflows
• Experience in fintech, insurance, or support automation is a strong advantage
• Understanding of evaluation, accuracy, latency, and privacy in AI systems
